A. Maitreya will not rid the world of starvation but inspire us to do so for ourselves.  Maitreya embodies what we call the Christ Consciousness - the energy of love - and it is this energy, as it manifests through us, that will change the world. Maitreya will inspire in us a 'change of heart' to create justice - and therefore peace -  in the world. He will take those who are ready through the process of the first and second initiations, and bring a new revelation of the nature of God (the Logos), and therefore of ourselves. He comes, He says, to teach humanity the art of Self (or God) realization -  the goal of our lives.
